Campgrounds
There
isn't a Park Service campground at the Greenbrier area of the Smokies.
There are, however, private campgrounds nearby. The Cosby area has
a park service campground nearby but it is a 30 minute drive from
Greenbrier. Here are a couple of URL's for private campgrounds that

Primitive
There are a
few back-country sites in the park that require a hike to get to
your campsite.

My favorite
campsite in this section of the park. At the end of the 3.7 mile
Porters Creek Trail, this site is nestled in a grove of Hemlocks.
It has good water source and a primitive trail that climbs up a
steep mountain-side to junction with that A.T..
