One of three loop hikes in the Cataloochee Area, this is a very relaxing creek hike. The trail follows this very scenic creek allowing for picturesque and memorable scenes. With it's beginnings in the Hemphill Bald area, this narrow but fast moving creek is just a short walk from the Cataloochee campground. This qualifies this hike as a beginners level hike suitable for most anyone.
